The Roadrunners answered back in the bottom of the second with a two-out RBI single by Alexis Hernandez that allowed Ambiorix Concepcion to score making it 3-1 Laredo.

The Broncos (19-25) got the run back in the top of the third on a RBI fielder’s choice by Flynn that scored Nick Mahin to make it 4-1.

A sacrifice fly by Gilbert in the top of the fourth allowed Diaz to score making it 5-1 Broncos.

Laredo added to their lead in the top of the sixth with an RBI single by D.J. Dixon that allowed Salvador Paniagua to score making it 6-1.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Roadrunners cut the Broncos lead in half with a two-run double by Wilson Batista scoring Hernandez and Felix Molina making it 6-3.

The Roadrunners (28-13) comeback attempt fell short as Maximinio De La Cruz pitched a scoreless ninth picking up his second save of the season and giving the Broncos the 6-5 victory.
